Our mobile teams, which include psychologists, animators, trainers and translators, continue their activities in Bucharest, at the train station and in the Robin Hood Center. About 30 Ukrainian families pass through the train station in Bucharest every day. We also regularly distribute hygiene kits to families who arrive at Romexpo.
Meanwhile, we started activities with the children at the Ienăchiță Văcărescu school, at the Tei Center, at the Henri Coandă school in Bucharest and at the Anaid summer school, where we also distribute recreational kits for children. All of our activities are meant to help children and their families integrate, if that's what their parents want, of course. We adapt all activities and games to the availability and attention of children, who sometimes focus hard, being tired after school hours or affected by the whole context of war.
"Wherever we go, we go because we are told that we are needed: by parents, institutional partners, other NGOs", says Radu Răcăreanu, Project Manager - Emergency Response Ukraine Refugee Crisis.
