One of the key objectives of the WELL-U project is to facilitate trainings delivered by trainers specialised in Reach Now, PM+ and MGSC methodologies. These methodologies are effective observation and assessment tools aimed at developing resilience, trust, empathy and respect, while encouraging caring for others. By collaborating with professionals from different mental health fields and decision-makers from different NGOs, the project aims to create a strong support network for these people in need.
Refugees from different countries have already had the opportunity to benefit from the positive effects of these methodologies, learning to better manage their daily activities in a foreign environment. Now, Terre des hommes Foundation Romania, through the WELL-U project, aims to bring these benefits to Romania, focusing on both Ukrainian children and Ukrainian adults affected by the migration process.
The WELL-U project team is working closely with non-governmental organisations in Romania to create an integrated support system adapted to the specific needs of refugees. Through these efforts, the aim is not only to provide medical and psychological assistance, but also to facilitate the process of social and cultural integration.
