World Refugee Day on 20 June provides an opportunity to reflect on the difficulties and challenges faced by refugees around the world. In the context of this day, it is essential to highlight and understand the importance of mental health for these vulnerable people who have had to leave their homes and face trauma and uncertainty. Mental health plays a crucial role in the process of recovery and adaptation to new living conditions. ⚠️ According to the United Nations, there are currently more than 26 million refugees worldwide, half of whom are children under 18.
In the Well-U project, we promote mental health and psychosocial well-being for refugees, focusing on the crisis in Ukraine.
The project aims to provide the support and resources needed to help them rebuild and recover.
