Good practices guide in safeguarding for the safety of children in sport (RO, EN, GR)

Every year, thousands of children choose to join a sports club or participate in recreational activities such as day camps and summer camps. Participation in these activities promotes the healthy development of the child. However, we should be aware that sports and recreational activities can represent risks and dangers to children.

This Best Practice Guide is addressed to sports federations/associations and sports clubs, as well as to institutions, organisations and entrepreneurs who organize day and summer camps for children and/or who offer minors other recreational activities.

Sports professionals and those who work for organizations that provide recreational activities for children, as well as parents of young athletes and children who go to day and summer camps, can find this guide useful for preventing children from being harmed in any way.
