Digitalisation of Child Justice Practices – EU Member State Snapshots

A European-level mapping (ELM) of current legislation and practice in the digitalisation of justice processes was carried out to place national assessments in the broader context of developments at European level, on legal and practical developments, best practices, risks and mitigation measures in relation to the development of digital justice affecting or for children (including by/for courts and criminal justice actors).

The research draws on the knowledge and experience of Terre des hommes, Penal Reform International and project partners, as well as advocates (such as the Global Initiative on Justice with Children) in the development and implementation of digital justice with/for children.

The findings will serve to identify gaps, needs and opportunities developed as part of the project. The research was carried out with the support of Baker&McKenzie’s ProBono Legal.
